About me
My Name is Natalie Jordan and I am a certified play therapist and trainee creative arts counsellor. I began my training with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy in December 2018, achieving first a Certificate in Therapeutic Play followed by a Diploma in Play Therapy, which I completed in June 2022. I completed training in Play and Creative Arts Counselling for Children and Young People in June 2024 and am currently qualified at trainee level. These qualifications are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority and meet the requirements of the Play Therapy UK register.

Before training as a Play Therapist I qualified as a Social Worker in 2008. I left social work to pursue my passion of working more directly with children and specifically in supporting children to achieve healthy emotional wellbeing strategies. In my last Social Work role I worked therapeutically with children and families using attachment and trauma informed training for 11 years.
As well as striving to help children develop their own positive emotional wellbeing I have a keen interest in attachment and trauma.
